    FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER (Photo In Menu)

I was a chubby baby...but a strict diet of Barbeque and Indian food along with some music by Jimmy Buffett and also throw in some Ramones on the side, would mold me into the man I am today.

I began to immerse myself in the media at a young age wanting to know all about every from of journalistic media. I learned how to give a speech, know what the difference is between hard news journalism and an editorial. I developed a keen interest in First Amendment issues, especially Freedom of the Press.

Featured Poem by Poet Caiti Quatmann

“Give Me Fall”

Give me apples bitten cold,

their sharp edge waking the tongue.

Give me cinnamon loosening its smoke

through kitchens where pies

collapse into sweetness.

Give me air salted with woodsmoke,

wind with an iron aftertaste,

the faint bitterness of coffee

cooling too quickly on the porch.

Give me sweaters dragged

from the back of the drawer,

scarves unwinding

the neck’s memory of summer,

trees lightening themselves

leaf by leaf.

Give me pockets stuffed with acorns,

nights that arrive

earlier than expected,

the hush of doors closing,

rooms that wait like held breath.

Give me crispness—

in the jaw, in the chest.

A season you can both eat and wear,

a season that climbs inside you

like breath,

and stays.
