General Pricing

OVERVIEW: Final pricing varies and is contingent on many variables! Please contact us by emailing zyilistl@gmail.com with details and we will let you know and make things work out to your desired goals and budget! There is a +$100 music director/music leader fee (already added for groups noted below) if a duet or more. Depending on whether equipment set-up is needed, arrival time is generally 30-60 minutes prior to the booking time (additional time needed for set-up/rehearsal/down-time on-site $50/person. Proration in 15-minute increments after the 1st hour; cheaper rates for subsequent hours. Rates increase 1.5x on a major holiday, which may include the day before/after.

• Live Music Per Person:

  • Solo Saxophone: $250/hour (playing non-stop with backing tracks and/or DJ; all black or light-up white/gold party outfit; usually bring my light-up glasses and bubble gun; for dance reception usually dancing and interacting with the crowd with limbo & conga line).

  • MO ECHO Brass Band 30-Minute Parade/Feature Package: $1,200 (8-people plus misc. “Extras” listed below)

  • Solo Violin: $400/hour (comes with sound man & speaker set-up)

  • String Quartet: $1,500/hour (4-people; sound equipment included)

  • Additional Misc. Musician: $250/hour

• Extras (brought for performer(s) & guests use/keep certain items; things that spray out needs venue permission):

  • Bubble Gun: Free

  • Saxophone sparkler & smoke attachment (2 sparklers ~1-minute each; forearm smoke machine periodic usage): $5

  • Hand throw streamer (no mess easy clean up; for guests to use too): $10 for 5

  • Confetti cannon (for guests to use too): $5 each

  • Money gun (100 sheets of fake cash blown using money gun all at one time): $5

  • Light-up tambourine (people keep): $5 each

  • Blow-up saxophone (people keep): $5 each

  • Other ideas (at Amazon current price rate that people keep): glow sticks/jewelry/tubes, sparklers for guests, light-up glasses/necklaces, confetti, party favor themed hats/glasses/blowers, kazoos, light-up coasters/ice cubes/shot glasses, blow up beach ball

• Sound Equipment (1-hour for set-up): $100/speaker (depending on how far projection is needed); $100 microphones/mixer

• 1 Chinese Lion Dance Team (CURRENTLY NOT AVAILBLE): $340 (4-people ~10 minute routine)

• Chinese Emperor/Empress/Blow Up Panda Cosplay Costume: $100/hour/person

• Pre-Mix DJ/Karaoke Host KJ/Open Mic Jam Session: $350/hour (comes with saxophone playing; +$400 for all equipment)

• Non Music Event Host: (e.g. game night, trivia, etc.): $100/hour (equipment other than laptop not included)

• Saxophone/Violin Private Lesson At Our Home: Violin $100/hour; Saxophone $60/hour

• Music Recording At On-Site Studio: Violin $100/hour; Saxophone $60/hour

• Travel Fee: 20-mile drive from 1000 Orchard Lakes Drive 63146 is free, otherwise +$3/mile/person according to the projected drive on Google Maps (meal is required if traveling 1-hour or more; paid commercial lodging may be required if arrival time back home would be after midnight)

• Outdoor Events: There are additional costs and requirements for outdoor events (generally +$50/person/hr depending). All equipment and performers must be provided full shade out of direct sunlight. We are able to provide tent shade for $100 for each 1-4 person group (+1-hour for set-up). There must be a rain/storm/major wind plan in place. Such inclement weather, excessive heat/cold temperatures, and lack of shade may result in our cancelation.

Contracts/Payment: Once a quote is agreed upon, we generally will email a contract and invoice. Contracts are to be signed and returned within 30-days in order to hold the date. A $250 or 33% of total fee (whichever is more) deposit required with the signed contract (deposit used for day of changes/adjustment and refunded within a week of the event date if not used), then the total contract amount is due 1-month prior to the date of the event. Payment options include CashApp, Venmo, Credit Card via PayPal, Cash, or Check made out to Zyi Li Music and Entertainment (3% fee added for credit card processing).

Cancellation: You may cancel 1-month or more prior to the event date. However, once a deposit is paid, it will not be refunded and is forfeited. You may move the contracted event date once to a new date (however the deposit will not be refunded if rescheduled).
