Our lineups, networks, and skills are offered to the community to provide great entertainment, knowledge, and support for any person, event, organization, and venue. Below are general ideas of services we provide, but creativity is limitless.

General Pricing

OVERVIEW: Final pricing varies and is contingent on many variables, to include, but not limited to, type of activity, number of participants, breaks allotted, food and beverage provided, parking, what we are required to do, equipment to bring, set-up/tear-down time, specific requests, unique dress code, travel distance, total duration/length, and date/time (as holidays, late/early/work hours). GENERAL PRICING GUIDE BELOW: Everything is customizable and negotiable. We offer a 10% discount for Veterans, pastors/religious leaders & functions, 501(c)(3) non-profits, and for children & educational related events/purposes, so please inform us of such status. There is a 10% of final total “booking fee” added to every booking (which goes towards instrument/equipment repairs/maintenance/upgrades) and a +$100 music director/music leader fee (already added for groups noted below) for groups of 3 or more people. Bookings generally include up to ~1-hour prior to the booking time for arrival/check-in/set-up/changing, with tear-down starting at the contracted end time (additional time needed for set-up/rehearsal/down-time on-site $25/person (sub 1-hour for a free meal). Free water, access to a green/changing room & restroom, and armless chairs must be provided as needed. Proration in 15-minute increments after the 1st hour; $50 cheaper rates per musician if booking over 2-hours of playing time).

    • MO ECHO Brass Band 1-Hour Parade/Feature Package: $1000 (8-people plus misc. “Extras” listed below)

    • Solo Violin: $250/hour

    • String Quartet: $1,100/hour (4-people)

    • Additional Misc. Musician: $200/hour

  • Extras (brought for performer(s) & guests use/keep certain items):

    • Bubbles (gun/machine periodic usage): $10

    • Saxophone sparkler & smoke attachment (2 sparklers ~1-minute each; forearm smoke machine periodic usage): $10

    • Sax-Zyi light-up saxophonist/saxophone costume: $50

    • Hand throw streamer (no mess easy clean up; for guests to use too): $10/5

    • Confetti cannon (for guests to use too): $5 each

    • Money gun (100 sheets of fake cash blown using money gun all at one time): $15

    • Smoke machine (for periodic usage): $10

    • Glowstick necklaces: $25/50

    • Light-up tambourine (people keep): $5 each

    • Blow-up saxophone (people keep): $3 each

    • Mini instant selfie photos (taken for people to keep with/by musician): $20/10

  • Sound Equipment (+1-hour for set-up): $100/speaker (depending on how far projection is needed); $100 microphones/mixer

  • 1 Chinese Lion Dance Team: $340 (4-people ~10 minute routine)

  • Chinese Emperor/Empress Cosplay Costume: $80/hour/person

  • DJ/Event Host: (e.g. DJ music, open mic, jam session, karaoke, game night, trivia, etc.): $100/hour

  • Saxophone/Violin Private Lesson At Our Home: Violin $100/hour; Saxophone $60/hour

  • Music Recording At On-Site Studio: Violin $100/hour; Saxophone $60/hour

  • Travel Fee: 20-mile drive from 1000 Orchard Lakes Drive 63146 is free, otherwise +$2/mile/person according to the projected drive on Google Maps (meal is required if traveling 1-hour or more; paid commercial lodging required if traveling over 2-hours)

  • Outdoor Events: There are additional costs and requirements for outdoor events. All equipment and performers must be provided full shade out of direct sunlight. We are able to provide tent shade for $100 for each 1-4 person group (+1-hour for set-up). There must be a rain/storm/major wind plan in place. Such inclement weather, excessive heat/cold temperatures, and lack of shade may result in our cancelation.

Contracts/Payment: Once a quote is agreed upon, we generally will email a contract and invoice. Contracts are to be signed and returned within 30-days in order to hold the date. Contracts require a 33% deposit to be paid in full with the signed contract, then the remaining contract balance is due no later than 1-month prior to the date of the event. Payment options include CashApp, Venmo, Credit Card via PayPal, Cash, or Check made out to Zyi Li Music and Entertainment (3% fee added for credit card processing).
