Overall, we want to modernize the bar concept and create a hip, new age, artistic location for everyone and to bring people of all walks of life together through our variety and culture. To build community, we organically support the local arts, entertainment, and small businesses by proudly showcasing and featuring original local artwork, crafts, entertainers, and more. We will also host many socialization and development events to entice unity and growth of all in our community.

So help us build the St. Louis community and have a drink, try something new, meet a new friend, and support local.

“A place for great people and great conversation”

“Everyone that walks in the door will be treated with respect and love”

“Supporting local through diversity and inclusion”

“A bar is a place to connect people together”

“Bringing bits and pieces of our unique lives together”

Our Story

“Inspired By Love, Created By Wu”

We believe in bringing people together in a safe and fun environment. We work to create a community that brings positivity to the St. Louis area. We will strive to celebrate the local talents and diversity (food, drink, arts, music, and more).

We understand what it is like to feel lonely, outcasted, and different. We want to make a place where all people genuinely feel safe and welcomed.

We started with Zyi Li Music and Entertainment, a community entertainment organization to bring people together in their artistic hobbies. However, in order to provide a safe location where we can fully have a say in the atmosphere, ensure positive staff and artist treatment, and highlight local original music, art, and small businesses, we decided that we needed our own location so we can uphold our values and mission. Therefore, Luvwoo Bar was conceived! The name is a play on words: Love for You “u” > Luv; Jenny “Wu” > woo (for a fun woo!). We treat everyone with love, want to socialize and chit-chat, and be your friend! Thus, our slogan, “Inspired by love, created by Wu”, was conceived.

The idea is to utilize as much “local” as possible in creating the atmosphere and vision of our bar. The bar will highlight local art and music, host various events that allow creative expression, and be a location for people to connect, network, meet, and discuss in an open, inviting, and genuine atmosphere, to include for our relationship nonprofit Love Found STL.

The location is small, but at a calm central location for the entire greater St. Louis, MO area. We want to create a unique and upscale ambiance and experience for all to enjoy!

We recycle and minimize waste

Luvwoo Bar does its best to minimize waste, reuse, repurpose, and be green. We pay to recycle all metal, glass, cardboard, plastic, and paper waste through local recycling companies. We also utilize glass straws. Thank you for helping us protect the environment!

OUr Menu

Our menu is constantly updated every month! See featured sample photos below and click here to see more photos (constantly updating).

Step right up to our dazzling cocktail carnival, where each sip is a ticket to a world of flavors! Our signature craft cocktail menu is a kaleidoscope of taste, featuring a symphony of classic and modern concoctions that promise to elevate your drinking experience. There is something new every month as we update the menu monthly and we also create seasonal drinks!

Our menu also features many classic cocktails with our own twist. Furthermore, for those who do not drink alcohol, we have many mocktail, tea, and other non-alcoholic drink options available. We may try to make certain cocktails virgin upon request as well!

All of our drinks are hand crafted with fresh ingredients. We routinely make our own syrups and garnishes from scratch, and source from local and top rated producers to ensure quality.

As for food, we locally sourced Asian themed desserts and have a few other food items available. We are by no means a restaurant. Therefore, we recommend our bar be a before and after dinner/dessert destination. We also partnered with surrounding restaurants for food on our menu. You are free to bring in your own food as well to eat!

Whether you're a seasoned cocktail enthusiast or a curious explorer of flavors, our menu promises a sip-worthy adventure that celebrates the artistry of mixology and a genuine local taste for your palate. Cheers to a world of taste at your fingertips!

Meet the Family

  • Jenny Wu

    CO-OWNER & GENERAL MANAGER & HEAD BARTENDER

I was born in Taiwan and moved to the U.S. at age 9. I’ve also lived in L.A., Denver, and Washington D.C. prior to living in St. Louis. I started playing the violin at age 3, won competitions, worked with people with Grammy awards and have toured in the U.S. and Asia, both classically and with bands. During my doctoral studies in violin performance I found my true passion. I want to live life with love and that anyone that comes around me would feel loved. I am blessed with a husband in St. Louis who strives for a standard of excellence, and appreciates and loves live entertainment as much as I do. I love smiling, giggling, laughing, and enjoying the simple things in life. I work hard to live a life of significance and impact, spreading positivity in any way I can! Luvwoo Bar is a place for me to share my passion and continue to explore my creativity!

  • Zyi Li

    CO-OWNER & JANITOR & EVERYTHING ELSE

I am born and raised in St. Louis and play the saxophone professionally with over 25 years of playing experience. I served in the United States Marine Corps as a musician from 2010-2014. I attended Campbell University, Webster University, and Washington University in St. Louis. I work for the federal government as an attorney. I like live entertainment, making music, performing, and trying new things. I also like animals, the outdoors, combat sports, marksmanship, motorcycles, craft arts, the performing arts, and anything that gets your blood pumping. I want to give back to the community through the universal language of music. Therefore, I started Zyi Li Music and Entertainment and created Luvwoo Bar, with my wife Jenny Wu, as a hub for the arts and creativity, while uplifting/supporting local talent in my hometown of St. Louis. “Live Life Proud”.

  • Alejandra Cuervo

    CO-OWNER & ASSISTANT BAR MANAGER & BARTENDER

I was born in Armenia, Colombia. At a young age, I had the privilege of studying English through different classes. Through those classes I was introduced to the diversity and my eyes were opened to the limitless possibilities that the U.S. has to offer. In Colombia I received a Bachelors degree in physical therapy and upon graduating I set my sights on moving to the U.S. In the process of my education, I discovered that my passion was beyond physical therapy. I became intrigued in different forms of creativity. I learned more about the art of bartending, coffee, and crafts. I was invited to join the Luvwoo Bar team in 2023, and I feel like I have finally found a place I belong. Recently, I started my own jewelry line “Be Kind.” It is a brand that best describes me. “Be Kind not with others, but most importantly, yourself.”

  • Drinking Straws .Glass

    GLASS STRAWS

Jeremy has been a glass artist for over 25 years, but he didn't start with the straws. He has made many things before the straws, to include wine glasses and pendants. He has been making glass straws for over 13 years. Jeremy and Kattie decided they wanted a fun family business that their kids could help out with. Therefore, they went into glass straws, making it unique with their fun designs.

“We knew it was gonna be hard to ask people to make a lifestyle change with a straw. We had to learn how to use a Serger and find eco-friendly materials for the cases, no polyester. So we found our Organic Cotton Fabric!

The more we talk, the more awareness would get out, and that is how change happens. Our simple actions lead to big changes.”

  • The London Tea Room

    TEAS

A passion to provide America with good quality tea grew after our family moved from England and found it almost impossible to find an establishment who would provide us not only with loose-leaf tea but boiling water to steep it in! We see a change coming. It is gratifying to see how people appreciate not only the calming and social aspects of drinking tea, but are interested in the overall health benefits of it, too. There's always time for a cuppa, and we hope you find your new favorite tea with us.
