    FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER (Photo In Menu)

I’m a freelance filmmaker, with a passion for music and images. I was born in St. Louis, and then spent most of my childhood in Colorado Springs, until my family moved back to Missouri, settling in Jefferson City.

In 2005, my wife and I moved from Jefferson City to New York City to pursue our dreams. I was fortunate to work on some amazing projects, with amazing people, and learn so much in the 13 years we lived in NYC.

Caring for aging family has brought us back to Missouri and the great city of St. Louis.

My film work has ranged from comedy to advertising work. I co-created several narrative web-series in the early YouTube days, and made a bunch of comedy shorts, and music videos.

I learned photography in college, and worked in a black&white darkroom for a year. My photography leans more to street photography and abstract images.

My featured photo, “On a blade of grass”, is a macro photograph of blade of grass in a public park. I find it amazing how much detail and work surrounds us every day, and we don’t think twice about it. Sometimes it’s important to stop and just listen to the sounds around us, and appreciate the beauty we inhabit.

“Love”

It envelops me, completely consumes me

Feel it all over, throughout, and within me

Warm like fresh, buttery, pancakes on my plate

A familiar and pleasant feel, with a blissful appeal

Sweet as a fragrant lily

Calming like chamomile

Built on a foundation as strong as steel

Just when I think it can't get any getter than this

I am greeted with a gentle kiss

Wondrous thoughts gleefully frolic in my mind

Fueling this sensation that I liken to elation that I've thankfully come to find
