Tonight is this trio's debut performance, but as three members of the local band "Monte & The Machine ", Selene, Mike, and Lexi are no strangers to the stage. Our musical style ranges from old standards, to camp songs, to 80's-90's pop favorites. Mike is an incredible musician who plays guitar and piano. By day he's a private music teacher and luthier. At night he rocks the bass as 'The Machine' of "Monte & The Machine". Lexi is an up and coming young singer with multiple writing and performing credits. Lexi's soprano voice blends perfectly with Selene's mezzo and their harmonies are beautiful! Selene has had a passion for singing and music her whole life. Her first band, "Black Annie", played in St. Louis county in the 90's. Now she's back and on fire! Come enjoy acoustic guitar, gorgeous vocals, and songs that you forgot you loved!

Featured Poem by Poet Bree Yard

You brighten my day

You make the sun shine yellow tears

Down upon me reminding me

That every step back just means more possibility in the future

Lives moving around us as if we are frozen in time

Grass growing tall showing me what I can be

Your energy exudes affection care and love

Of the highest degree

As if you are the reason behind creation
